Fastest triple centuries in Test cricket

Virender Sehwag [Images] reached his triple century on Friday off 278 balls which makes it the fastest triple century in terms of balls faced.

 Sehwag triple century leads India run spree

Now, two of the four fastest triple-centuries have come from the blade of Sehwag.

Though no authentic information is available about the balls taken by Wally Hammond to complete his triple hundred against New Zealand [Images] at Auckland in 1932-33, but it is estimated that he took near about 355 balls to do so.
