Team India arrives in Mumbai March 06, 2008 11:45 IST The victorious Indian cricket team landed back in Mumbai on Thursday after their three-month long tour of Australia. The team, which reached Mumbai at 10.20am IST, was flown to Delhi in a special Kingfisher Airlines chartered flight where they will be felicitated at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. They will be welcomed at the New Delhi airport and then taken to a city hotel before the civic reception at the Feroz Shah Kotla. The young Indian team led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni [Images] outplayed Australia 2-0 in the best of three finals to win the Commonwealth Bank tri-series. The BCCI on Wednesday said the planned trip from the airport to the Feroz Shah Kotla ground in an open-top bus has been cancelled. The players will be felicitated by, among others, BCCI chief Sharad Pawar [Images] and Delhi Lieutenant-Governor Tejinder Khanna.
