Rediff player performance tracker Srinivas Bhogle, K Anil Kumar | June 27, 2007 India has so far played four ODI matches after the disastrous 2007 World Cup: two completed games against Bangladesh, and one each against Ireland and South Africa. The Rediff player performance tracker, that we have promised to publish after every ODI match during the 2007-08 season, indicates that India's younger players are currently outperforming the seniors, with Piyush Chawla being India's most valuable player (MVP) at the moment. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the MVP after the ODI series against Bangladesh, but he hasn't been able to hold on to this position because he is out of action as a result of viral fever.
