New dates for Ranji semis and final January 06, 2007 17:16 IST The Board of Control for Cricket in India has changed the dates for the Ranji Trophy Elite and Plate division semi-finals and final. As per the revised schedule, the Elite division semi-finals will be played from January 23-27 instead of its earlier scheduled dates of January 18-22. The final will take place from February 2-6 instead of January 27-31. "We have changed the date as the final is being telecast live," BCCI's Chief Administrative Officer Ratnakar Shetty said. The Plate division semis would be held from January 10-14 and the final from January 21-25, Shetty added.
