Fiery fast bowler S Sreesanth [Images] has asserted that his aggression was not fake as alleged by Australian captain Ricky Ponting [Images], saying he was being himself on field.

"I am Sreesanth and I'm not scared of any batsman in the world," he said.

"What's the worst that can happen - six sixes? Well I'm not really worried about that. Whatever I do on the field I do from the core of my heart; I don't act. This is the way I have played cricket all my life," he was quoted as saying by Cricket Inside.

Sreesanth, doubtful for the initial matches against Australia as he is nursing a shoulder injury, refused to take all the blame for on-field verbal exchanges during their last one-day series in India and claimed that Australians were more active in the war of words.

"I think all of that was over-played because it was not the first time in the history of the game that it has happened. I didn't do anything close to what the Australians did.

"I don't want to name any cricketer. But it is just not me, everyone knows who does what on the field.

"Most of them are questioning me of showing youngsters the wrong way to behave but I learned from what I watched on the screen."

The young pacer also said that he was not scared to face the crowds Down Under.

"I am not scared. In fact, I will take it as a challenge."
