India elect to bat in 4th ODI

August 30, 2007 19:29 IST

India won the toss and elected to bat in the fourth one-day international match against England [Images] at Old Trafford in Manchester on Thursday.

Dravid, who did not hesitate to take the decision of setting a target on a batsman-friendly track, made one change in the team by bringing in Ajit Agarkar [Images] in place paceman Munaf Patel [Images].

The good news for England was that their skipper Paul Collingwood [Images], who was down with stomach cramps, was declared fit to play.

The hosts also received a boost as all-rounder Andrew Flintoff [Images] overcame his injury to replace seamer Chris Tremlett.

Teams:

England: Alistair Cook, Matt Prior [Images], Ian Bell [Images], Kevin Pietersen [Images], Paul Collingwood (captain), Andrew Flintoff, Ravi Bopara, Owais Shah, Stuart Broad, James Anderson, Monty Panesar [Images]

India: Sachin Tendulkar [Images], Sourav Ganguly [Images], Rahul Dravid [Images] (captain), Yuvraj Singh [Images], Dinesh Karthik, M S Dhoni [Images], Ramesh Powar, Piyush Chawla, Ajit Agarkar, RP Singh, Zaheer Khan [Images].
