Left-arm spinner Nilesh Kulkarni will lead Mumbai in the West Zone limited-overs tournament, to be held in Ahmedabad from January 10 to 17. He replaces originally named captain Sairaj Bahutule.

Announcing the change, Mumbai Cricket Association joint-secretary Lalchand Rajput said Onkar Khanvilkar will replace the injured Bahutule in the squad, which takes on Baroda first on January 10.

Bahutule suffered a hamstring injury during Mumbai's penultimate Ranji Trophy Elite Division Group A match against Karnataka last month and has not recovered.
