Musharraf awards Inzy 1 million for win

Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf [Images] today announced an award of Rupees one million for captain Inzamam-ul-Haq [Images] for leading the team to victory in the fourth one-day international cricket match against India in Ahmedabad [Images].

The state run Pakistan Television reported that Musharraf spoke to Inzamamam, coach Bob Woolmer [Images] and the team manager Salim Altaf and congratulated the team.

He also praised Inzamam for his all-round contribution.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz also complimented the captain and the team members for winning today's match and levelling the six-match series 2-2.

Man of the match Inzamam made a gutsy unbeaten 60 to help Pakistan to a thrilling last ball win against India at the Motera Stadium on Tuesday.
