Dravid scores 26 as Scotland are whipped

Rahul Dravid failed to build on a start and was dismissed for 26, as Scotland went down to a humiliating 10-wicket defeat to Lancashire at The Grange on Wednesday.

In a match reduced by rain to 39-overs-a-side, the Scots could score only 168 for 7 wickets, with Chris Wright top-scoring with 46 not out.

Lancashire surpassed the target in just 29 overs in the National League Division II match, with half-centuries from Mal Loye (88 not out) and Mark Chiltone (69 not out).

Brief scores: Scotland 168 for 7 in 39 overs (C Wright 46 not out, C Smith 28, R Dravid 26; Wood 4/22) lost to Lancashire 170 for no loss in 29 overs (M Loye 88 not out, M Chilton 69 not out).
