Regardless of whether India wins the Adelaide Test, many believe the Australians have been getting into trouble largely thanks to their own overconfidence.

Even coach John Buchanan put his side's performance on the fourth day down to the 'immaturity' of the batsmen. On a pitch that holds no real devil, the vaunted Australian lineup should have put up a much bigger target for the Indians.
