Ford India on Tuesday launched a diesel variant of its premium hatchback Ford Fusion priced at Rs 659,000
Ford Motor India said on Wednesday that it has firmed up plans to launch 'Fusion' in the next three months as the prototype of the vehicle, a crossover between a car and an MUV, has been developed.
Japanese automobile company Mitsubishi Motors may launch a compact car in the B segment in the country. The car is expected to hit the roads in three years. Though Mitsubishi sells Pajero SUV and Lancer sedan in India, they have not generated adequate volumes for the Japanese automobile company. The compact car will take on Maruti Swift, Hyundai Getz, Skoda Fabia, Fiat Palio, Chevrolet U-VA and Ford Fusion
Ford India on Tuesday launched Fusion Plus, a new variant in the Ford Fusion range, priced at Rs 616,500 and Rs 683,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company claims that Fusion Plus offers consumers excellent value for money and the introductory offer on the Fusion Plus during the month of March includes an MP3 player with 4 speakers.
Ford India said on Thursday it will launch the diesel variant of the mid-size Ford Fusion by the third quarter of this fiscal, even as it forecast demand for vehicles softening due to steep interest rates and possible revision in annual sales target.
