German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz on Tuesday said it has commenced the local production of its AMG portfolio in India, and rolled out its first-ever locally made GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe. The company rolled out AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe, tagged at Rs 76.7 lakh (ex-showroom), from its Pune facility on Tuesday.
Dealerships, too, are going all out to roll out the red carpet for women.
The Jaguar has 11 different types of F-Paces in different engine and style combinations that start from a Rs 40-lakh petrol variant and go up to a V-8 engined convertible that can cost Rs 2.8 crore.
At an expected price tag of Rs 600,000 to Rs 900,000, it does spell trouble for the contenders in the sub-4-metre SUV space.
