Lahore Commissioner Khusro Pervez has blamed India's intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) for the recent riots in Punjab province.The Daily Times quoted Pervez as saying that the recent anti-Christian riots in Gojra and Sheikhupura were orchestrated by the RAW.He added that various American and Western organisations were trying to create 'an Islamic brigade' in Pakistan by supporting the Indian spy agency.
In scathing remarks, Taseer told Lahore Commissioner Khusro Pervez that he had "no knowledge of what is going on the world". Hours after groups of terrorists attacked three security facilities in Lahore on Thursday, Pervez had claimed that India's Research and Analysis Wing agency was behind the attacks.
The Pakistani police on Thursday pointed fingers at India after three terror attacks in the eastern city of Lahore, but Interior Minister Rehman Malik said there should not be any speculation on the issue without evidence.
The newly-announced cabinet is expected to take oath on Monday at the President's House.
Qureshi said External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj sent a letter on Sunday to congratulate Prime Minister Imran Khan and mentioned about talks to resolve issues.
