The special Lokayukta court on Saturday adjourned to December 2 hearing of the bail application filed by Bharatiya Janata Party corporator Katta Jagadish, who is under judicial custody following his arrest in a land scam.
While former minister and MLA Aravind Limbavali's wife Manjula Arvind Limbavali has got the ticket for the Mahadevapura constituency, the party has fielded Katta Jagadish, son of former minister Katta Subramanya Naidu from Hebbal.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has kept away their sure shot winning candidate Katta Subramanya Naidu out of the poll fray this time around due to corruption charges. The Hebbal assembly constituency will be watched closely as it does not have the popular Naidu contesting on a BJP ticket. However, Naidu is running a proxy campaign for the candidate he has chosen -- Jagadish Kumar.
