Shiromani Akali Dal candidate Manjinder Singh Kang on Wednesday won the Beas assembly seat in Punjab by defeating Congress nominee Jasbir Singh Dimpa by 4,183 votes, official sources said.

The Beas election was postponed by the Election Commission due to pre-poll violence in the constituency in which one person was killed.
