India and America meet in mid-air
Indian Air Force General B C Nanjapa gets a bird's eye view from the cockpit of an F-16, as he and Col. Rusty Cabot discuss the aircraft's capabilities.
America came with F-16 fighter jets. India fielded its Russia-made Sukhoi Su-30MKIs.
For the first time, the US Air Force also brought in the AWACS and other planes like KC-130 air-to-air refuellers for the exercises.
The two sides flew a rare high value airborne asset (HVAA) attack simulation over Kalaikunda, which principally illustrated the cohesive nature of this round of war games.
