India and America meet in mid-air
Staff Sgt. Garrett Faust, 35th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron F-16 Crew Chief, removes the intake cover while preparing the F-16 for a day of flying against various Indian Air Force aircraft like the Mirages in the background.
For 12 days, a mixed team of Indian and American pilots on both sides engaged in a variety of manoeuvres in which both the Americans and the Indians won, and lost.
The exercise, officials said, helped air forces from the two countries strengthen their relationship and enhance their ability to operate together.
