U Krishnam Raju (BJP) defeats T Gopalkrishna (TDP) by 41,471 votes to bag the Kakinada seat.

S Jaipal Reddy (JD) wins from Mehbubnagar, Andhra Pradesh, beating S Mallikarjun, Congress state president. Reddy polled 298,267 votes, beating the Congress nominee by 42,661 votes. Jitendra Reddy of the BJP finished third with 206,756 votes.

Suresh Prabhu (Shiv Sena) retains Rajapur seat, defeating Machindra Kambli by 65,000 votes.

Paramasivam Raja of the All-India Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam bags 288,072 votes in Pudukottai, beating the DMK's Siva P N who gets 257,552.

Prem Singh Lalpura of the Shiromani Akali Dal wins by a margin of 125,000 votes over his nearest rival Gurinder Singh of the BJP in Tarn Taran.

S Mallikarjunaiah of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeats R Narayana of the Congress in Tumkur constituency of Karnataka. Mallikarjunaiah gets 327,312 votes as against Narayana's 256,125.

N T Shanmugham (PMK) wins the Vellore seat, beating closest rival T A Mohammed Sashy (DMK) by 26,405 votes.

N Dennis (TMC) beat P Radhakrishnan (BJP) by 29,185 votes in Nagercoil.

Mahendra Veer Malaviya (Congress) wins the Banswara seat.

Ulhas Patil (Congress) beats Gunwantrao Sardde of the BJP in Jalgaon by a margin of 56,814 votes.

Giridhari Lal Bhargava (BJP) beats M Sayeed Khan Goodage of the Congress, winning the Jaipur seat by 138,971 votes.

M Thyagarajan (AIADMK) wins Pollachi by 95,401 votes.

Shamanur Shivshankarappa (Congress) wrests Devangare from G M Mallikarjunappa of the BJP by over 11,000 votes.

Subramanian Swamy of the Janata Party elected from Madurai bagging 266,202 seats and beating A Q S Rambabu (TMC) by 20,897 votes.

R Ramarajan of the AIADMK beat R Dhanushkodi Athithan of the TMC by 46,855 votes to win the Tiruchendur seat.

M Anirudhan of the CPI beat C V Padmarajan of the Congress by 3,938 votes to retain the Chanthannur seat in Kerala for the Left Democratic Front.

K Venugopal of the AIADMK beat T Nagarathinam of the DMK by 23,795 votes to bag the Sriperumbudur seat.

M Thambidurai (AIADMK) beat K Natrayam (TMC) to bag the Karur seat in Tamil Nadu.

Y S Rajasekhar Reddy (Congress) defeats Kandula Rajamohan Reddy (TDP) to bag the Cuddapah constituency.

Uttamrao Patil (Congress) wins Yavatmal seat by 54,673 votes.

Mohanbhai Sanjaybhai (BJP) wins Dadra and Nagar Havel by a lead of 8,717 votes.

Ramakrishna Patil (Congress) wins Aurangabad, defeating sitting Shiv Sena MP Pradeep Jaiswal.

Ambareesh of the Janata Dal beat nearest rival G Made Gowda of the Congress in Mandya. He had 431,439 votes as against Made Gowda's 250,916. H Srinivas of the BJP trailed with 102,459.

Rampal Upadhaya of the Congress wins the Bhilwara seat in Rajasthan, beating Subhash Chandra Baheriya of the BJP by 79,951 votes.

Former Union minister P M Sayeed of the Congress is elected from Lakshadweep, defeating rival Janata Dal candidate K K Mohammed Koya by 1,005 votes. This is the ninth time Sayeed has won this seat.

Buta Singh, an independent now, wins from Jalore, Rajasthan. He defeats Gena Ram Meghwai of the BJP by 166,005 votes.

Shankar Pannu of the Congress beat nearest contestant and sitting MP Nihal Chand of the BJP by a margin of 42,761 votes in Ganganagar, Rajasthan.

Mithilal Jain of the Congress wrests the Pali seat, Rajasthan, from BJP nominee and former chief justice of Guwahati high court Suman Mal Lodha with a lead of over 26,730 votes.

Kamal Choudhary of the BJP wins from Hoshiarpur in Punjab beating Congress candidate C D Singh by a margin of more than 65,000 votes.

Prabha Thakur of the Congress wins the Ajmer seat in Rajasthan, beating nearest rival Rasa Singh Rawat of the BJP by 5,772 votes.
