Priyanka Chopra wished her followers and tweeted, 'Here's wishing everyone a very happy children's day... We all have a child within us.. I know I do! Even tho mine is a bit mad!! Hehe!'
In Miss India style, Dia Mirza tweeted, 'May we never cease to ask questions,be bewildered,play,laugh,be filled with enthusiasm and be free. My wish 4 evry child evn d 1 within me.'
Sonakshi Sinha tweeted a picture which was a blast from the past, 'The twins and I with the father. Happy Baal-diwas.'
Likewise Konkana Sen Sharma got nostalgic as she messaged, '#WhenIWasAKid We used to get 5 phuchkas (gol gappas) for a rupee.'
Director Shekhar Kapur was overwhelmed. He tweeted, 'thank u all for the hundreds of messages for masoom n mr india, i am overwhelmed n did not know the effect these films had.' Earlier the director published his plea. 'the child in all of us is alive n creative, but needs to be both nurtured n cared for, the loss if innocence is corruption. Lets dedicate this children's day to millions of kids that will not survive the callousness of our govt and society.'

It all began with Neil Nitin Mukesh tweeting, 'Got the day off in goa. With my father at baga beach @ britto's. Great to see so many kids here :D. Lovely weather. Awesome place great food.'
Sonam Kapoor followed suit by saying, 'Eaten so so much at mums kitchen in goa!! Nothing beats goan food '
To which Bachchan Jr tweeted to both of them in his serious avatar, 'Will the 2 of you stop eating and get serious about your work please!! Start starving like the rest of us!! Believe sikandar is at martins corner.... These children are out of control!!'
Neil Nitin Mukesh replied back emotionally, 'when I have a big brother like you I know you won't let me! So please work harder than you already do for us :D' So did Sonam who said, 'your just jealous!! Bwahhahahahahaha!!!
Bachchan Junior promptly replied back, 'jealous?? We'll discuss that when you see the rushes and both of you will be looking like the house we're shooting in!'
Of course Neil sulked, and said, ':( ok this is what u give us on children's day. Fine we will :(' and Sonam asked for help, 'I've eaten the whole of mums kitchen and now you gotta lift me.. :-)'
