Directed by Jayanth C Paranji and produced by Ganesh Babu under the Parameswara Arts Banner, Teenmaar -- with the tagline 'Celebration of Love' -- is the most awaited Telugu film of the year. After all, it's 'Power Star' Pawan Kalyan's first release of the year.

The movie will release on April 14.

Said to be a remake of the Hindi film Love Aaj Kal, Pawan Kalyan and Trisha will come together for the first time in Teenmaar.

Titles like Khushigaa and Lovely were considered for the film before Teenmaar was finalised.

Trisha outlined many reasons for signing the film: "The script is good for the heroine. Pawan and I are paired together for the first time. The film is being directed by one of my friends Jayanth Paranji. The entire package is good. Who wouldn't want to come in a film like this?"

So is the film really a remake? "It is based on the Hindi film but changes have been made to suit the Telugu audience," she replied.

Trisha claimed it was fun shooting for the film. "I play a contemporary girl and shooting the film was a wonderful experience. It was like a paid holiday and one got to make a beautiful film. Jayanth is a friend, so we shared a good rapport and understanding," she said.

"You can look for entertainment with a contemporary story. The film has Pawan Kalyan at his best. It is shot in lovely locations like Cape Town, Varanasi etc. It's a lovely love story with Trivikram's dialogue," she added.

Jayanth Paranji directs a Telugu film after a long gap. He has got Trivikram Srinivas, who had earlier directed Pawan Kalyan's hit Jalsa, to write the dialogues for the film.

Jayanan Vincent is the Director of Photography. Mani Sharmaa has scored the music.
