PIX: Sofia Hayat's Bikini Birthday

Keeping up with her flare for grabbing eyeballs, British actress Sofia Hayat celebrated her 27th birthday in a unique way on December 7 at the Peninsula Grand hotel in Andheri, a western Mumbai suburb.

The actress dressed up for her big day in a bikini.

The actress, who will be off to London in three days, told reporters that she wanted to plan her birthday party in a unique style and enjoy her time in Mumbai.

The actress first hit headlines back in March this year when she turned up for one of the cricket world cup matches in a bizarre outfit, supporting team India.

Hayat has acted in films like The Unforgettable and Cash. She also shot for Udita Goswami-starrer Diary Of A Butterfly during her stay in India. 

The actress also made a splash with a promotional bikini photoshoot for the film Diary Of A Butterfly.

Dressed in a black bikini and a gold chain, the actress seduces the cameras with a sexy pose.

Hayat is also a singer and holds a degree in Music and performing arts.

The actress started out professionally at 16 when she landed her first role with BBC's hit show Absolute Power. Stephen Fry was her costar on the show.

Hayat is trying to learn Hindi for her projects in India and has also published her autobiography -- Dishonoured -- published by Blakes Publishing in 2009.
