PIX: Ameesha Patel, Puja Gupta arrive in Cannes

Actress Ameesha Patel, the latest Bollywood beauty to arrive at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, dazzled on the red carpet in a graceful Manish Malhotra creation.

The actress, at the French fest to promote her upcoming film Shortcut Romeo, was attending the All Is Lost premiere.

The actress waved at shutterbugs as she arrived with Shortcut Romeo director-producer Susi Ganesan for the premeire.

All Is Lost is a survival drama directed by J C Chandor and starring Robert Redford as a man lost at sea.

The actress was joined by costar and former Miss India Puja Gupta, who was last seen in Go Goa Gone, on the red carpet.

The young actress looked fetching in her Gauri & Nainika gown.

While Ameesha's embroidered lehenga came as a welcome respite from the Sabyasachi flood at Cannes, the actress could have done better with slightly different makeup.

It was yet another Manish Malhotra lehenga in very elegant colour combination for Ameesha as she posed for the Shortcut Romeo portrait session.

The neon red popped beautifully against the dominant white.

Ameesha fared much better with her makeup, the wavy updo and pearl earrings at the portrait session.

Meanwhile, actress and short films jury member Nandita Das attended the 'Jury Cinefondation' photocall during the 66th annual Film Festival in a very cheery yellow salwar kameez.

The colour beautifully complemented the actress.

The actress also attended the Only God Forgives premiere with fellow Jury Cinefondation members Semih Kaplanoglu, Jane Campion, Maji-Da Abdi and Nicoletta Braschi.
