PIX: Kareena celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with fans

Kareena Kapoor and her Heroine director Madhur Bhandarkar seeked some divine intervention for their film, releasing on September 21.

They visited the Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal in Bandra on Wednesday, where Kareena offered prayers to Lord Ganesh.

Heroine's release has been well timed with Kareena's birthday, on September 21.

Looking gorgeous in pink, Kareena's wardrobe for the promotions of Heroine has been excellent.

The film sees Kareena play a heroine, who has to go through the grind of the film industry. Madhur Bhandarkar has always made women-centric films, with varying success rates.

Is Kareena also praying for her grand wedding (with Saif Ali Khan), rumoured to be held in October?

While making her way to the pandal, Kareena was surrounded by her fans, who wanted a glimpse of the gorgeous actress.

Heroine also stars Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Shahana Goswami and Helen.

After Heroine, Kareena will be seen in Aamir Khan-starrer Talaash.
