Get your low down on what's happening in the world of Hollywood, right here!

Hollywood superstars Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, who play lovers in their upcoming thriller The Tourist bonded over their children.

Depp and Jolie had never met before being called to discuss starring in the action thriller and when he started talking about his children with partner Vanessa Paradis, Jolie too opened up about her six children.

Depp said he was surprised by Jolie's sense of humour while Jolie admitted that she was nervous before meeting the actor, the Daily Mail reported.

'We sat there and babbled about our kids, and it was a huge relief. I was pleasantly surprised that she has an incredibly perverse sense of humour. She's a really cool broad,' Depp, 47, said.

The pairing of Depp and Jolie, the two most popular actors in Hollywood, is a casting agents dream come true. Jolie plays a seductive English woman on the run from Russian mobsters, who seduces Depp for her own gains.

The film is expected to be one of the biggest box office hits of 2010. Jolie, who calls herself a huge fan of Depp, admitted in an interview with Entertainment Weekly magazine that she had been nervous waiting to meet Depp. But she said she relaxed when she saw photos of his girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and their children in his Hollywood office.

'As I was waiting, I noticed these beautiful pictures. He's an artist, and you feel that in any space he's in. When he walked in, he was as interesting as I'd hoped he be,' Jolie said.

Now, Bill Clinton to star in The Hangover 2

Former US President Bill Clinton has filmed a cameo for The Hangover Part II in Thailand playing himself in the comedy flick.

According to People magazine, he is the latest big name to sign on for the sequel to the 2009 hit, reports

He filmed his part over the weekend while in Bangkok to give a speech on clean energy.

The movie also stars Wedding Crashers actor Bradley Cooper and Due Date's Zach Galifianakis. Over the weekend it was announced that John Adams star Paul Giamatti would appear as well.

The film's casting became the object of scrutiny when it was reported that Mel Gibson would have a cameo role in the comedy.

But the cast and crew reportedly complained of the choice given Gibson's public child-custody battle with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva that included audio recordings of violent, profane and racist rants by the Hollywood heavyweight.

Gibson was sacked and Irish actor Liam Neeson agreed to replace the Braveheart actor in the role of a Bangkok tattoo artist.

The film, directed by Todd Phillips, is set to arrive in cinemas in May next year.

Jessica Simpson engaged

Jessica Simpson and NFL football player Eric Johnson are engaged after just seven months of dating.

The news comes less than two weeks after her ex-husband Nick Lachey announced his engagement to long-time girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, reports the Daily Mail.

'They are thrilled!' Simpson's spokesperson said, adding that the couple became engaged late last week.

This will be the second wedding for Simpson, who split from Nick in 2005 after three years of marriage. Simpson filed for divorce from the former 98 Degrees singer citing irreconcilable differences.

But she eventually moved on, enjoying high-profile romances with singer John Mayer -- who later said she was like ''sexual napalm'' in bed -- and Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo.

Simpson and Johnson began dating in May while he was estranged from his first wife, stylist Keri Johnson. Their divorce was finalised last month.

The Dukes of Hazzard star recently gushed about her athlete beau, who has played for the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints.

'This is just normal, thank God,' she said. 'He''s very, very supportive. [I] couldn't ask for a better man in my life right now,' she said.

As for her newly-engaged ex-husband, she insisted last week: 'I couldn't be more happy for Nick.'

The Simpsons -- the legendary animated sitcom-is set to make a comeback for a 23rd season, which would take it through at least 2012 and a mind-boggling 515 episodes in total, Fox has announced

With their renewal, Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie-and the rest of the warped ''Simpsons'' universe-are creeping up on the record for the most episodes in prime-time TV history.

Only "Gunsmoke" (635 episodes) and "Lassie" (558 episodes) have more-and the way The Simpsons continues to roll, it''s reasonable to expect that it will end up as the all-time prime-time episode champ.

The Simpsons always been known for its celebrity voiceover appearances will also feature Katy Perry appearing in a live-action sequence alongside ''Simpsons'' puppets-spoofing her ''Sesame Street.''
