After Dev DThat Girl in Yellow Boots and Shaitan, Kalki Koechlin was left out of the cast of her husband Anurag Kashyap's upcoming film Gangs Of Wasseypur.

But contrary to what's being written in the newspapers, Kashyap clarified the reason and tweeted: 'a journo who writes,"kalki is not good enough for anurag" isn't good enough to cover cinema for he does not understand GoW is set in Bihar & he also does'nt understand that marrying someone does not mean that I will make all my films with her, we don't mix work with personal life. and to quote me without interviewing me on the subject is downright selling other people for 5 bucks.'
