Filmi fashion: Gold is the new black!

Apparently, gold is the new black. At the recently concluded Lakme India Fashion Week, gold took centre stage on the ramp, and this metallic hue may just be huge this year.

But actresses have been wearing the colour for quite some time now. We take a look at some women, who dazzled in gold recently.

Mallika Sherawat

Mallika has, time and again, professed her love for gold with her red carpet appearances. Most of us still vividly remember her Cannes debut back in 2005.

Last year too, she walked down the Cannes red carpet for the screening of the film Copie Conforme in this gold number.

Priyanka Chopra flaunted her chiseled body in the now famous sizzling bikini in Dostana. The fact that it was in gold made it look even more glamorous.
