The shooting for Boney and Sanjay Kapoor's upcoming production Tevar is over. 

Shruti Haasan, who will be seen in an item song in the film, shared a picture from the sets and tweeted: 'And it's a wrap!!! thankyou to entire thevar team and Babloo !!!!' 

Arjun Kapoor added: 'So I wrapped my 6th film just now...surreal n bittersweet feeling but it's been a wonderful journey...hope u guys like our Tevar.'

Directed by Amit Sharma, Tevar will also star Sonakshi Sinha, Manoj Bajpayee, and Kader Khan.

Rohit Shetty, Karan Johar come together for Ram Lakhan remake

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is all set to direct the remake of Subhash Ghai's 1989 film Ram Lakhan

Karan Johar, who will be co-producing the film along with Mukta Arts, confirmed the news and tweeted the first look: 'Rohit Shetty Dharma productions and Mukta Arts come together to remake an iconic blockbuster!!!!' 

The film's original cast was Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Madhuri Dixit, Raakhee, Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal and Anupam Kher.

Meanwhile, filmmaker Karan Malhotra, who directed the Agneepath remake, took to Twitter to announce his next film titled Brothers.

Confirming the news, Karan tweeted: 'Dharma Productions, Lionsgate, Endemol India present ‘BROTHERS’ directed by Karan Malhotra, Starring Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez & Jackie Shroff. RELEASING OCT 2ND, 2015.'

'Thank you so much @Asli_Jacqueline for being a part of 'BROTHERS'. Can't wait to start!!!' he added.

Mani Ratnam's 1998 film Dil Se completed 16 years on August 21 and Preity Zinta, who made her debut with the film, got nostalgic.

'16 years ago Dil Se released & changed my life forever. Just wanted 2say a BIG THANK U from my Dil oops Dil Se 2 all my supporters love u all,' Zinta tweeted. 

'Still cannot believe I wanted 2 be a criminal investigator & ended up being an actor instead ! Truth really is stranger than Fiction. Ting ! It's been so long since we chatted so let's chat tomorrow morning at 10am IST folks ! I've missed our chats. Till then take care. Love u all,' she added.
