The rains have always played a pivotal role in Hindi cinema.

Monsoon, also widely hailed as the season of romance, is upon us.

And apart from steaming hot cups of tea, books, pakoras and conversations, we have the glorious movies to keep us company.

Aashiqui 2

One of the most talked about sleeper hits of 2013, Mohit Suri's Aashiqui 2 featured Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor as an ill-fated loved up couple.

This rain sequence from the hit song Tum hi ho struck a chord with many fans.
