Priyanka Chopra, who is currently busy shooting for her debut American television series Quantico in Montreal, posted a picture from the sets and tweeted: ‘What do we learn in class today!!! Not much!! #ClassroomShenanigans’ 

‘And it's September! @abcquantico goes up on sunset blvd! Good things happen in sept!’ she added.

The thriller is set to be aired on ABC starting September 27 in the US.


It's a wrap for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo!

The shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is complete.

Cast member Neil Nitin Mukesh tweeted: ‘And it's a wrap !!!! Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. " Tujhse judaa hokar .. Hume door Jana hai ... Pal Bhar ki judaai ... Phir laut aana hai".’

Produced by Rajshri Productions, the family drama also stars Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher, and Deepak Dobriyal. It is expected to release on November 12.


Karan Johar gets nostalgic


Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is currently in London for his next directorial venture Aae Dil Hai Mushkil, turned to Twitter to remember his father Yash Johar.

He posted an old photograph of him with close friend Shah Rukh Khan and tweeted: ‘Papa and @iamsrk....#memoriesforever.’ 

Meanwhile, Karan has also crossed the seven million followers count on Twitter.

Thanking his well-wishers, he added: ‘At #7million followers today!! Thank you to my Twitter family! Lots of love and positivity to all.’

Directed by Karan, Aae Dil Hai Mushkil will star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in central roles.


Madhur Bhandarkar takes Calendar Girls to Nagpur


Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has started touring the country to promote his upcoming film Calendar Girls.

He posted a picture and tweeted: ‘In #Nagpur on the way to #raisoni engineering college & #flywheel aviation with my leading ladies.’

The film is scheduled to release on September 25.


Aligarh to be screened at BFI London Film Festival

After Busan International Film Festival, National Award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s upcoming film Aligarh has been selected for screening at BFI London Film Festival.

Confirming the news, Hansal tweeted: ‘One more big thank you to @ErosIntl @ErosNow @Shaileshrsingh for #Aligarh. #BFI #LondonFilmFestival. You guys have been amazing.’

The film stars Manoj Bajpayee and Rajkummar Rao.


Asha Bhosle’s day out with Zakir Hussain!


Veteran singer Asha Bhosle, who is currently in the US for her musical tour, recently bumped into tabla maestro Zakir Hussain.
