Rajasekhar emerged on the success charts by doctoring the script of Evaidaithe Naakenti, a film adapted from the Malayalam Lion. After much research, Rajasekhar wrote the screenplay and dialogues for this film. Samudrala and Jeevitha, his wife, are jointly credited for directing Evaidaithe.

Dr Rajasekhar played an army officer who later enters politics, tackles corruption and tries to cleanse the system. He enacted this role with felicity, actually managing a comeback with this film.
