Top Telugu performances of 2007
In 2007 so far, some good performances stood out, and to a large extent elevated the films too. Here they are:
Venkatesh
'Victory' Venkatesh came back triumphant with his Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule (AMAV). The superstar took a self-imposed break (his last film Lakshmi released in January 2006) to come back with a bang in this Selvaraghavan movie. A simple romantic comedy, AMAV required mature and intense acting, which Venkatesh did with aplomb. The ease with which he executed the comedy with impeccable timing, and the realistic emotions he displayed were great. Venkatesh was ably supported by Trisha in this film and their performance was certainly one of the highlights of AMAV.
Venkatesh's performance is perhaps his best so far.
