The Pantaloon group was one of the first corporate groups to venture into Bollywood.

Its first film, Arjun Sablok's Na Tum Jaano Na Hum (2002), starred Hrithik Roshan and Esha Deol.

It was a box office disaster.

Pantaloon also produced Sangeeth Sivan's Chura Liya Hai Tumne the next year. It starred Zayed Khan and Esha Deol. That too bombed.

The company has now wound up its movies division.
