Top 5 Android tablets under Rs 10,000

We have picked the top-five tablets under Rs 10,000. All are based on the Android operating system.

Asus Google Nexus 2012 (Rs 9,999)

Its features make it one of the best-performing tablets.

It is specially meant for gamers. The 2012 version comes with a seven-inch touch screen with resolution of 1,280x720 pixels.

The highlight is its Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor, which, with one-GB RAM.
This model has 16-GB internal storage, of which 12 GB is for data.

It has received an Android 4.4 KitKat update.

It has a 1.2-megapixel front camera.

It has a 4,325-mAh battery, which claims to provide 10 hours of surfing.

This model has only Wifi connectivity.

Xolo QC800 (Rs 9,499)

It has a quad core processor, a 1.2-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8225Q. Besides, we have chosen it for another feature, voice calling.

The QC800 comes with a single SIM slot that allows it to make voice calls as well as access 3G.

The tablet has one-GB RAM. We hope this will ensure decent performance during gaming.

There is four-GB internal storage, of which two GB is available.

It has a 32-GB micro SD card slot, so storage is not a problem.

It comes with an eight-inch touch screen.

This IPS display has 1,024x768 pixels resolution.

Besides, it has a two-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front one, Android Jelly Bean operating system, Wifi, global positioning system, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 4,000-mAh battery that claims to provide 12 hours of 3G talktime.

Xolo Play Tab 7.0 (Rs 8,000)

Launched last year at Rs 12,999, it had received a price cut last month and is now Rs 8,000.

This makes it the cheapest Nvidia Tegra 3-based tablet.

It comes with a powerful 1.2-GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor and a 12-core Nvidia ULP GeForce graphics processing unit.

It has Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, one-GB DDR3 RAM, eight-GB internal storage and 32-GB expandable storage slot.

Its seven-inch IPS display has a decent 1,280x800 pixels resolution.

The Play Tab 7 has a two-megapixel front camera.

It has a 4,000-mAh battery.

This 10.6-mm-thick tablet has Bluetooth 4.0. It has Wifi.

It has eight-GB internal storage and 32-GB expandable slot.

It has a three-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front one. It has a 3,620-mAh battery.

It does not have voice calling.
