NimishaDay Two of Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016 ended with Wendell Rodricks' iconic show.

Indian costumes were given a modern twist and showcased during fashion designer Wendell Rodricks' show titled 'Indica Emporia'.

The humble dhoti was turned into a dhoti jumpsuit, and a cape gave a contemporary twist to the good old kurta

Celebrating the legacy of handwoven Indian textiles, Wendell chose bright and bold colours like red, green, blue and pink for his collection.

Take a look at some of the iconic outfits from the collection.

The models didn't walk the runway. Instead they graced the podiums set up on both sides of the aisle.
