Trekking to the mighty Chembra

My friend Suhas and I decided to trek to Chembra peak in Kerala's Wayanad district. We got enough information about the location and route. We even got the name and contact details of a guide, Pavithran, on the Internet. With inputs from Sandeep Unnimadhavan, a trekking pro, we were all set.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

We planned to leave Bangalore early in the morning. But a heavy downpour the night before threatened to throw a spanner into our plans. Our friends advised us to postpone our trip since we were going to Wayanad on a bike. We called Pavithran, who told us the weather there was fine and we should go ahead as planned. That was music to our ears.
