Mist in my room: Munnar diary
Our first sightseeing stop was the tea museum. Dating back to the British, the museum has some very interesting anecdotes from the past, like how Arthur Wellesly -- later the Duke of Wellington who defeated Napoleon Bonaparte at Waterloo -- came up to Munnar on the trail of the great warrior Tipu Sultan in the late 1700s. The Tiger of Mysore of course, left the Duke in the lurch.

The small museum also houses tea equipment from the past and one of the first telephone exchange system used in India.

Of the other things I did was driving around in the hills. It is so scenic and alive. Driving past tea gardens and little villages, accompanied by the smell from the eucalyptus trees and the clean air, it was the long drives that I enjoyed most.
