Spellbound in God's Own Country

At around 6 in the evening we reached Alappuzha, also known as the Venice of the East.

After tea and snacks, we took a stroll along a vast stretch of paddy field, watching the sun set in the distant horizon.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

We interacted with the locals and learned a bit about the culture and tradition. We also indulged in fishing. I didn’t know fishing could be such a wonderful experience! With a few tips from our oarsman, we had a pretty good catch.

Later in the evening, back on the boat, we watched the film Titanic. After a sumptuous candle-lit dinner we retired to our room. To our pleasant surprise, the bed was decorated with fragrant flowers!
