Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf has alleged that the Board of Control for Cricket in India has been hatching conspiracy by getting their key bowlers suspended, adding he believed that the 'pleasing BCCI' policy adopted by the current Pakistan cricket regime is not getting them anything in return.

Ashraf said that PCB should have appealed to the International Cricket Council (ICC) in the Mohammad Hafeez bowling action case and termed the incidents a 'conspiracy hatched against Pakistan cricket by the Indian lobby to get their key spinner suspended,' the Dawn reported.

He added that the suspensions of Hafeez and Saeed Ajmal at the crucial time of the World Cup caused great damage to Pakistan in the mega event.

He insisted that PCB preferred to send their bowlers for bio-mechanics test to Chennai despite the fact that the same kind of labs were working in Australia and South Africa as well.

However, PCB contended that the decision to not appeal against it was taken because there were no solid grounds to contest the case.
