Pitch expected to aid India's spinners on Day 3

Sri Lanka 8-2 (3 ovs) vs India 503-9 | SCORECARD

There was a lot of rain overnight and early morning but currently we have a bright sunny morning at Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo.

Play will start at 9.45am IST -- 15 minutes earlier to make up for time lost on the second day. Only 56 overs were bowled on Day 2  because of rain.

Former Sri Lanka batter Russell Arnold says the pitch will have a lot of assistance for the Indian spinners on the third day and batting will be a tough challenge.

'Can they survive the third day?' asks Russell in his pitch report.
