Harbhajan to meet Warne's doctor

December 13, 2003 21:01 IST

Injured off-spinner Harbhajan Singh will meet Doctor Greg Hoy in Melbourne on Wednesday with phsyio Andrew Leipus in tow, team sources said on Saturday.

It is still not clear whether the bowler would need to undergo surgery on his injured finger. It is expected that a final decision would be taken by Hoy, who had also treated Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne.

The 'Turbanator' has visited a couple of doctors in Adelaide and they have suggested a few alternatives to an operation on his troublesome injury in the bowling hand.

One doctor said an option for him is to change his bowling action while the other recommended pain killers.
