Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag, who missed the last ODI series in Sri Lanka, are set to return to the Indian limited overs squad when the national selectors meet in Nagpur on Wednesday to name the team for the seven-match series against England commencing on November 14 at Rajkot.
India will need to play out of their skin to stop the mighty Australians from clinching the series as they go into the must-win sixth one-dayer on Sunday.
They stand to reap rich rewards if they consistently emerge on the winning side in Tests and ODIs.
The chairman of selectors also feels that Pathan and Dhoni could lend balance to the middle-order during the World Cup.
