It's a crime to be born a girl in this country," they said."The juvenile accused has been convicted in all charges. They are encouraging him by giving him only three years punishment. Such people can never change," said the brother. Dont you think 3 years is not a right punishment in r*pe cases wherein after being in prison...they might do the same crime again???? Q. Considering the rate at which juvenile crimes are increasing across the nation, reforms in juvenile judiciary are needed and soon too. Ever since Dec 16, Delhi gang r*pe, many petitions have been filed for lowering the age of juvenile criminals from 18 years to 16 years... Neither does one want to to see minors rotting away in juvenile homes for committing minor offences while the process of justice gets delayed...Your views??
