Love was in the air at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games!

There was romance all around at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with the engagement of two Scottish cyclists.

It was a victory of sorts for Scottish cyclist Chris Pritchard who participated in the track cycling event at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome on Sunday.

After a third-place finish in a ride-off for the minor places in the men's keirin, Pritchard proposed to girlfriend Amanda Ball with the crowds at the stadium looking on.

Pritchard was still in his gear when Ball said ‘yes’ as the crowds cheered in the background and the cyclist pumped his fists on ‘tasting victory’.
