Tony Nadal, uncle and coach of World No 3 Rafael Nadal, believes that dominance of big four has diminished in the wake of fierce competition from the newcomers.

Rafael NadalNadal said it was a normal thing that the domination of Federer, Rafael and Djokovic was less as they had two new Grand Slam winners in the year, adding that it was incredible that it lasted for a decade, the Mirror reported.

He further said that when Milos Raonic, Nishikori and Grigor Dimitrov would make the next step, they would be capable of winning the big ones.

The 2014 season saw Stanislas Wawrinka and Marin Cilic winning Australian Open and US Open respectively, claiming majors for the first time from outside the Big Four since 2009.
