There's been a lot written about Harry Potter and the craze the fifth J K Rowling book created in publishing history. But in the middle of the mania, there was another faction that hated every moment of it. This group of people can't stand the wizard boy. They have even set up a site dedicated to 'uniting Harry Potter haters'.

"We don't like the books, or the movie, we hate the phenomenon, and if you're a fan, then we're here to re-educate you and make you think otherwise," claims this site. Fellow haters can submit articles justifying their anti-wizard stance.

Then there is a survival guide for those who think "Harry hype is nothing more than a merchandise-heavy marketing ploy". This article talks about a phone line launched in Austria by an author who was fed up of the hype about the first Harry Potter film. But J K Rowling, whose fans greatly outnumber her detractors, will probably not lose too much sleep over this one!
