Vignettes: Colour and candour at Anna's fast

Anna Hazare on Wednesday called off his fast a day ahead of schedule and repeated his threat to campaign against Congress in the five poll-bound states for not brining a strong Lokpal.

Chicken run: This suppoter dared to bare (almost) all in public, and was totally unfazed by shutterbugs clicking away.

The writing on our backs: These live banners walked all over the MMRDA grounds, without having to shout a single slogan.

The jokepal: This gentleman walked the length and breadth of the grounds, and spread cheer wherever he went.

The torch bearer: Though there is no flame, this supporter dressed as Birsa Munda created quite a stir when he appeared on stage.

Feeding frenzy: He fasts for the whole nation, but we folk got to eat.
