World's tallest man, Sultan Kosen of Turkey, poses with Vanessa Egues, who is 1 metre 52 cm (4 feet 98 inch), before a news conference in Rio de Janeiro November 18. Kosen, at 2 metres 46.5 cm (8 feet 1 inch) tall, also claims the record for the largest hands and largest feet. He attended an event to promote the Guinness World Records 2011 book
