Pix: Chocolate as you have never seen before

A chocolate handbag is displayed at the World Chocolate Wonderland at the National Taiwan Science Education Center in Shihlin, Taipei.

The exhibition, which will be held from July 1 to September 29, will showcase various creations made completely from chocolate.

The  other creations will include the Taipei 101 skyscraper, the Great Wall of China and the Mogao Caves.

The exhibition was planned after a similar chocolate art show attracted nearly 4 lakh visitors in Beijing earlier this year.

Chocolate melts beyond 20 degrees Celsius, so the exhibits will have to be kept in a temperature controlled room.

One of the biggest attractions in the exhibition, the Taipei 101 tower, took over one month to create.

The exhibition seeks to present chocolate not merely as a sweet temptation, but also as a form of art.

The chocolate terracotta warriors are the centrepiece of the exhibition and comprise of 400 mini pieces.
