Is Digvijay YOUR spokesperson, BJP asks Sonia, Rahul
The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday slammed Digvijay Singh for attacking Sri Sri Ravishankar and asked Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi whether the Congress leader was their spokesperson.
"We demand specific answers from Sonia Gandhi and preferably from Rahul Gandhi on whether he (Singh) is their spokesperson. Congress says he is not their mouthpiece or their spokesperson," BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy told reporters.
Rudy recalled a statement of Singh made in December 2010, in which he had reportedly said that in whatever he does and says, he has the blessings of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

'Is he in-charge of the dirty tricks department?'
Rudy said he would not like to name the "Congress general secretary" who is "suffering from foot-in-mouth syndrome" and has been "mocking" Baba Ramdev, Anna Hazare and now Sri Sri Ravishankar.
"Has he been made the in-charge of the dirty tricks department of the Congress party? Or has the topmost leadership in the Congress party given him the responsibility to raise trivial and controversial issues to divert the attention of the country away from corruption," he asked.
Rudy claimed that by his attacks, Singh was only working "overtime" to "dig the grave of Congress party."

'He blamed RSS for Mumbai terror attacks'
"Sri Sri ji releases Nitin Gadkari ji's book. Advani ji and Suresh Soni ji of RSS on the dais. Sri Sri Ji ko Jai Ho," Singh tweeted on Saturday.
Ravishankar had released the book on October 8 with a call to "spiritualise" politics.
Rudy recalled the various statements made by Digvijay Singh which had generated controversies in the recent past.
"He is the same person who had blamed RSS for the Mumbai terror attacks and had even claimed that he has evidence. He had also supported putting the office of the prime minister under the ambit of the Lokpal Bill. Union Minister Kapil Sibal had spoken against such a move," Rudy said.
