First Look: Sonakshi's retro look item song

New age actress Sonakshi Sinha is taking cue from actresses like Sridevi and Parveen Babi for a retro disco number that she has shot for the Himmatwala remake. All set to groove in the eighties' style, Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha is going to try and capture the magic of yesteryear sirens Parveen Babi and Sridevi in her item number, Thank God it's Friday, in Sajid Khan's upcoming Himmatwala. The item dance, meant to bring out a retro mood, will see Sonakshi in shiny outfits reminiscent of the eighties, keeping in mind the style statements Sridevi or Parveen Babi often made on the screen back then. The first-look snapshots of the song show Sonakshi's item number has been styled and choreographed in a way that it bears resemblance to Sridevi's iconic hit, Raste mein woh khada tha, from Chaalbaaz. She is dressed in tight black pants, jacket, boots and gloves. Another picture shows Sonakshi donning a vintage sequined golden dress with matching headgear. This look bears strikingly similarity to Parveen Babi's look in the hit song, Pyaar karne wale, in Shaan.
